PMHC
PMHC is a proud affiliate of the Métis Nation of Saskatchewan and has been honored to provide service to the Métis and Indigenous people of this Province for over three decades. PMHC is governed by Minister of Housing Mr. Ryan Carriere and a talented volunteer Board of Directors many of whom have provided long and outstanding service to our communities.
Currently PMHC provides administration for two (2) different programs; The Reaching Home Program and the MN-S Emergency Home Renovations and Repair Program. As well, PMHC is developing new and innovative housing program for Métis and the Indigenous communities throughout Saskatchewan.
- PMHC employs four (5) full time staff on our Reaching Home program. An Executive Director, three (3) Reaching Home Program Coordinators, and an Administrative Assistant.
- PMHC employs two (3) full time staff on the MN-S Emergency Renovations and Repair Program (MN-S EHRRP) and contract employees and housing inspectors, as needed.
PMHC staff are here to serve the housing needs of the Métis citizens of Saskatchewan.

REACHING HOME: CANADA'S HOMELESSNESS STRATEGY
Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy is a Federal government funding initiative for homelessness projects. The Non-Designated Indigenous and the Non-Designated Rural and Remote Funding Streams of the program are administered by the Provincial Métis Housing Corporation (PMHC) as the Community Entity (CE). The Reaching Home Program in Saskatchewan is a five (5) year contractual agreement between the Government of Canada and PMHC with funding available until March 31, 2024.
